The BMW 228i is BMW's most basic car sold by BMW. It is the revived version of the car that saved BMW, the 2002. The BMW 228i's engine breaks the flat 6 tradition as it is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder that makes 240 horsepower. The BMW 228i is more lightweight than the 3 series, so the handling is better. Not only that, you get a BMW, a legit BMW, for about 30 grand. However, there aren't really any luxury features at base price, but its still a BMW.

The Mazda MX-5 (Miata)  is one of the best known roadsters ever as 1 million have already been sold. It is one of the most lightweight sports cars on the market as it weighs about 2300 pounds. The Mazda MX-5 has had a lot of weight losing tricks added on to it. There are now only 4 lug nuts in the wheels instead of 5. There is a manually retractable soft top to lose the weight of the mechanical items involved in operating a power top. Making the weight distribution 50/50 was so important to the engineers of Mazda that they moved the battery to the back.

The Alfa Romeo 4C is a stripped out. 2400 pound, mid-engine symphony. The interior has no glove box, a tiny cup holder that can't really hold your regular sized water bottles, and a leather pouch as your glove box. The Alfa Romeo 4C is a baby supercar because it feels like a supercar, but it doesn't have the power, nor the price to actually be one. Like a proper handmade, mid-engine supercar from Italy, you get all the fun kinks including no rear visibility and awful build quality. However, the sound and the driving experience will make up for the more rough edges of the 4C.

The Hellcat is called the Hellcat for a very good reason. There is this ridiculous supercharged V8 that makes 707 horsepower. The Hellcat comes with 2 keys. The black key unleashes about 500 horsepower. The red key releases all 707 horsepower. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat is well known for its power. Its power is sent to the rear wheel , which helps it create some ridiculous burnouts.

The Camaro SS may be one of the most advanced muscle car for its price. There is available magnetic ride control and configurable center display. The configurable display is pretty much the same as Audi's virtual cockpit.

I have to put the Smart Fortwo on this list. The old one had a robotic transmission, and you could literally smell your passenger's breath. The new one may be wider but it isn't longer. Smart had to make it wider to pass the Small Overlap Test. The extra width allows you to have a more airy environment. The real reason why I love the Smart Fortwo is the personality. There are so many round surfaces inside including a tachometer that spins around. The dashboard is this cloth surface that feels cool. The are a million color schemes for the Smart Fortwo. You start by choosing the color of the Tridion safety cell. Then you chooses the color of the panels. For the interior, you must choose the color of the dashboard and the seats.

The Ford Mustang is one of the first muscle cars. When it first came out, it was a hit, and no other competitor from Dodge, nor Chevy could beat the sales of this pony. The Ford Mustang GT is a proper muscle car. The V8 makes 435 horsepower and the Mustang GT hits 60 in about 4 seconds. Not only that, the GT model starts at around 30 grand, so its cheap, unlike German cars with similar power. Because the Mustang is cheap and fast, it is very popular. Last year, it was named the most sold muscle car of the year.

The great thing about the BRZ/86 is that if you think that it is too under powered, you could boost it without worrying so much because the engine is quite tough.

For people who want something quick and reliable, the IS350 is the perfect candidate. The IS350 is the underdog towards the German sports sedans because it isn't as fun to drive. However, the IS350 dominates everywhere else. For starters, it could last longer than your average BMW 3 series so that way headlight repairs won't interfere with winding down mountain roads. The other part is that everything about the IS when it comes to comfort and technology is engineered better. For example, unlike the A4, every time you turn on the car, music won't be blasting. Not only that, the remote touch system may be silly but the interface that it is controlling just seems easier to use as everything is logically placed in a menu unlike have the 4 corners system like the A4 or the "What the Heck is This" system like in the Mercedes Benz C Class.

The Ford Focus RS is ridiculously insane. There is a drift mode that allows the Ford Focus RS to drift like a boss. The are also these sweet Recaro seats that hold you in place while your pulling some sick donuts.

I thought that the Veyron was uncool for being ugly and the interior looking low tech and boring. The Chiron fixes everything. First of all, it looks like a real race car, which should be the goal because of the sheer speed this thing is able to achieve. Second of all, the interior looks like Pagani came in and designed it. There is a fancy metal speedometer with menus next to it. There is also beautiful metal and leather everywhere. The Chiron is made by Bugatti, so it obviously has some kind of ridiculous engine, otherwise it isn't a true Bugatti. There is a quad turbo 16 cylinder engine that makes 1500 horsepower. There is an electronic limiter that limits this car to 261 miles per hour so no rich guy kills himself after trying to achieve the top speed.

The Porsche 918 is a plug in hybrid, but is is a Porsche too. There is a V8 and 2 electric motors that make a total of 887 horsepower. The Porsche 918 is the perfect hypercar. The exhaust note is right next to your ears and for the car guy addicted with sound, its perfect. The sound may be great, the performance is even greater. 0-60 in this Porsche takes 2.5 seconds according to Road and Track. It is as quick as a Bugatti Veyron, which also took 2.5 seconds when tested by Road and Track.

The Tesla Model X P90D isn't your average crossover. There are some really cool features. All the doors are electric so they open when you push the buttons on the remote and the giant touchscreen. There are also falcon wing doors that open upwards. Though there are cool features, the performance and electric range is also cool. The P90D has 250 miles of range and 2 electric motors that make a total of 762 horsepower. That's a good amount of power for a crossover that is electric.

The Lamborghini Aventador is so cool that Batman drives one in the Dark Knight Rises. What makes the Aventador so cool. First of all, it has a V12 that cranks out 691 horsepower. That V12 sounds like the Batmobile. Second of all, the styling and the way everything comes together is like a fighter jet. There are scissor doors that go up. There are sharp edges that come together to form something amazing. For the interior, there is a cover on the start button to tell you that this car will be like a missile. The switches for everything make it feel like you are piloting a proper fighter jet.

The Maserati Ghibli S Q4 is probably one of the best sport sedans out there, There is a Ferrari V6 giving the Ghibli 404 horsepower. For example, the leather and the style of the seats is proper luxury. The materials inside feel nice and look great. Though it is a luxury car, there are touches from the FCA that just bother me. The U-connect is the same one as the one found in a 20,000 dollar Dodge Dart and it is an 80,000 dollar Maserati.

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the best and most capable SUVs that you could buy. The size is perfect for offroading. The overhangs and the wheelbase are short, so they will not catch onto the rocks that the Wrangler is climbing up. The are some offroading tools too. There is a locking differential and the option to electronically disconnect  the sway bar. These features are standard on the Rubicon trim.

How to Improve the Toyota Land Cruiser

The Toyota Land Cruiser is Toyota's offroading SUV. It has fancy gadgets that are activated with fancy switches and dials. These fancy high tech gadgets help one climb rocks. Among them are CRAWL Control, Multi Terrain Select, and Multi-terrain Monitor. This SUV feels plush on the inside but is actually quite tough. However, sales suck. Toyota is lucky if they could sell 3,000 Land Cruisers a year. Why do sales for this car stink?

One of the biggest reasons is the high price. It starts at 83,000 dollars. Its Lexus variant, the LX starts at around 88,000 dollars. You could also buy a Land Rover Range Rover for around 84,000 dollars. Why would you buy a Toyota when you can spend 1,000 dollars more and a Range Rover, which is a high class luxury car? Further more, if you are thinking of a reliable offroader, why din't you just get the Lexus LX, which has the Lexus badge that gives you the status in society. The Lexus LX is luxury and if you could afford a car that is 83,000 dollars, then you could probably afford the Lexus LX, which is around 88,000 dollars.

Why is the Land Cruiser so expensive? One of the main reasons is because it has all this fancy offroad technology and expensive things. However, this is a Toyota, not some fancy Land Rover. Why would someone want to buy an eighty grand Toyota, even if it has all this fancy dancy stuff. Toyota's aren't supposed to be expensive. They are supposed to be cheap and reliable. First of all, they need to downsize it. The Land Rover used to be this little reliable SUV that you could beat up and it would still survive. Downsizing it will not only lower production costs but it will help lower the wheel base. In offroading, the lower the wheel base, the better.

The second thing that they could do is that they could cut down on the expensive tech. Old school stuff works just as well as fancy air suspensions. Just look at the Jeep Wrangler. It is one of the most capable offroaders ever. Old school is more reliable. Take the high tech and fancy Land Rover Range Rover as an example. The third this that they could do is try to have classic Land Cruiser styling. Why would they need to do this? Because they need to try to come in terms with the Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler pretty much is unique for its size and price point. Toyota needs to get a bite of that class by making something similar to the Jeep, but more reliable. This way, Jeep owners could have the style and capability of a Wrangler but the reliability of a Toyota. After all, Jeep sold about 202,000 Wranglers last year. Toyota could benefit by taking a chunk of that. This could take away something from Jeep.

Thanks to Ford, we now are able to obtain the Ford Focus RS. They weren't chicken with this car at all. It has a turbocharged 2.3 L 4 cylinder engine that makes a beastly 350 horsepower. They have added all wheel drive replacing the front wheel drive. The best part is the drift mode where it could let you drift in an all wheel drive car.

The Chevrolet Camaro is all new for 2016 and it sure is  amazing as it already won the Motor Trend 2016 Car of the Year. What car guys are really interested in is the Camaro SS with the 6.2 Liter LS1 V8 with 455 horsepower, the same engine as the Corvette. The Camaro will crush every Mustang and Dodge Challenger with the most mean looks and the interior that is cleverly designed. The climate control is controlled by 2 metal rings that twist to raise and lower the temperature. I may hate the Tesla Model X but it is something new on the SUV market. You could either have the 70D, the 90D, or the performance P90D.  The 70D has 2 motors that combine to make a total of 518 horsepower and a 70 kilowatt batter that has 220 miles of range. The 90D has the same 2 motors and has a 90 kilowatt battery that has 257 miles of range. The P90D has 2 electric motors that make a total of 762 horsepower and a 90 kilowatt battery that has 250 miles of range. This SUV is quite unique. One of the most interesting features is the Falcon Wing doors that open up and have sensors so it won't the car next to you. Another cool feature is that all you do is push the handle and the door will open for you.

If you call a Land Rover Range Rover luxury, then you need to see this.  This is Bentley's luxury and fast SUV. It has a 6 liter W12 engine that makes 600 horsepower. It's not all road and no offroad. There are offroading modes that help you offroad, but who would want to clip their under body in 300,000 dollar SUV, This SUV has some of the most exclusive features. For example, there is an optional Bertling Clock on the center console that has diamonds embedded into them, while the dials are either rose gold or gold. It has an Android based entertainment system that you could take off and take it into you home.

The Acura NSX has been revived. However, it is an expensive hybrid this time. It has a base price of 150,000 dollars. However, it is worth it. It has a 3.5 liter twin turbocharged V6 that makes 500 horsepower and 2 electric motors. The total amount of power for this car is 573 horsepower. It has a 9 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. This car is amazing. For starters, it looks a lot like the concept car. The interior looks great, especially since it flows really well. Something that I find really cool is the screen for the speedometer. You can customize it to display what you want. It shows that Acura is catching up to becoming a maker of the modern supercar.

The Honda Civic Type R is not like any other Honda Civic sold in America. First of all, it is a Civic hatchback, so it seems quite bulky. Second of all, it is turbocharged. The only other turbocharged Honda is the regular Honda Civic that has the optional 1.5 turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. However, this time it is a 2.0 L V-TEC and turbocharged 4 cylinder that makes 300 horsepower instead of the meager 176 horsepower.  Of coarse, You might be wondering what this front wheel drive car with that much power is up against.The Honda Civic Type R is a the Ford Focus RS. One of the key differences is that the Ford Focus RS is all wheel drive, but the Honda Civic Type R is front wheel drive (why???). Unless Honda has some fancy differential that eliminates understeer, it is useless around the corners since front wheel drive plus high speed plus cornering equals understeer.

The Audi R8 no longer has a V8. It only has a V10 and V10 Plus trim. The V10 makes 540 horsepower. However, the V10 Plus has some upgrades that allows it to make 610 horsepower. Like the Lamborghini Huracan LP-610-4, it has a V10 and all wheel drive. It also has Virtual Cockpit, which is an entire digital gauge clusters. However, thing that makes this different from the Lamborghini Huracan LP-610-4 is that Iron Man drives an R8.

This is the car that stile the Detroit International Auto Show back in January of 2015. No one paid attention to the NSX. It has an Ecobosst V6 (yes,V6) that makes 600 horsepower. Less that a thousand are going to be made. This is one of the most high tech Fords ever. The Ford GT's tub is made of carbon fiber. The spoiler has tricks such as turning into an airbrake and adjusting so it provides drag and down force when needed.

The Lamborghini Huracan LP-610-4 is a V10 all wheel drive car. It is similar to the Audi R8 V10 plus. Lamborghini was nice enough to make a Huracan that is rear wheel drive that also has a V10. Instead of making 610 horsepower like the regular Huracan, it makes 580 horsepower. The best part is that it costs less than than the regular LP-610-4. The regular all wheel drive version costs around 240,000 dollars. The rear wheel drive wheel drive version starts at about 200,000 dollars. Now, more people could brag about having a Lamborghini.

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is amazing. Before we get into why this car is amazing, we must discuss the engine. It has a 5.2 L V8 that makes a nice 526 horsepower. There is an available Magnetic Ride Damping system. This car will impress you. You might just think that this is another Shelby but it isn't.
